The Heart speaks.

Alone with You
In obscurity observing
-Creation-
the sky and trees
people in front of me
talking, eating, staring
into space of time and distance
-reflecting on the past
-pondering the future
Will they look into their heart?
Or be swept by culture
Society says,
“ Eat drink and be merry
For tomorrow you die”
I question this reason why?
Hearts are forgotten
Lonely yet externally covered
Filling the emptiness, starving within
Gaining it’s last breath screaming
What about me?
What about who you are?
What about the man in the mirror?
What is he saying?
When alone and observing You?
